We Are Marshall Movie Tour

• Marshall University’s football team, coaches and boosters passed away in a tragic plane crash on
November 14, 1970. This story is the basis for the movie, We Are Marshall, starring Matthew
McConaughey and Matthew Fox.
• Learn how the community rallied behind Marshall to continue the football program and heal together.
• Visit Marshall University’s campus and the Memorial Fountain, Spring Hill Cemetery and filming
locations with your complimentary step-on tour guide.

The Real Hatfield McCoy Feud

• The McCoy family of Kentucky hated the Hatfields of West Virginia for many reasons. Some say it was
the clandestine affair of Johnse Hatfield and Rose Anne McCoy while some say it was a lawsuit over a
sow and some pigs. For the first time ever, the key Hatfield McCoy Feud sites are open to visitors.
• During this four-day itinerary, you will visit Heritage Farm Museum and Village; Old Central City
