Southwest Michigan Is Pure Fun.

Michigan From the quaint downtown shops to the vivid music concerts, Paw Paw, Michigan has something for everyone. Nestled in the heart of Michigan’s wine country, the village of Paw Paw is home to a rich variety of boutique shopping, restaurants, galleries, award-winning wineries and breweries. Guests may even take their lunch to-go to explore the wealth of natural beauty found around Paw Paw’s many lakes.

In the summer, the village pulses with activity after activity. Each summer, the Paw Paw Days Car & Truck Show attracts thousands of visitors keen to see vintage vehicles. Each year, the show has more than 250 cars and trucks on display. For the event, local food vendors, artists and crafters fill Van Buren County Park in downtown Paw Paw with booths and carts of goodies and one-of-a-kind treats.

Summer visitors are welcome to attend part or all of the Summer Concerts on the Lake series. Taking place at the Maple Lake Amphitheater every Sunday evening from July through August, this concert series is the perfect precursor to The Wine & Harvest Festival in the first weekend of September. With something for everyone, The Wine & Harvest Festival boasts four stages of entertainment for music-lovers, tastings and tours for wine enthusiasts, a 5k run, a grape-stomping competition, carnival rides, fireworks, a parade for all ages, a kayak race and many more contests and games.

Within driving distance from the village of Paw Paw rest many more sites. The historic Oak Cove Family Resort in Lawrence allows visitors to step back in time with the ones they love. The beaches of South Haven, as well as the many wineries and orchards, provide relaxation, fun and a plethora of photo opportunities for guests. Visitors to southwestern Michigan are encouraged to explore The Riviera of the Midwest, St. Joseph, which boasts two lighthouses at the North Pier. In Kalamazoo, visitors can explore the Institute of the Arts and the Air Zoo Aerospace & Science Museum. Few places offer such a wealth of choices as southwestern Michigan.
