Bonanzaville
Bonanzaville is one of North Dakota’s most significant historical attractions! Bonanzaville is a pioneer village and local history museum set on 12 acres in West Fargo, North Dakota. Bonanzaville is home to hundreds of thousands of artifacts depicting the rich pioneer past of Cass County, North Dakota. Our main museum houses several stationery and rotating exhibits, including a vast selection of rare Indigenous artifacts.
Bonanzaville features Fargo’s first log cabin, built in 1869 when Fargo was a city of tents in the Dakota Territory. An antique car museum visitors from across the United States consider one of the best they have ever seen. The Houston Mansion was the home of David Houston, the roll film camera inventor who patented the basic principles in 1881, eventually making it possible for ordinary citizens to carry a camera and take photographs. You will also experience our air museum, telephone museum, pioneer firehouse museum, train museum, blacksmith shop, and much more! Our bus tour guests will receive a discounted admission of $10.00 for adults and $8 for seniors over 20% off the regular price of admission.
