The zoo offers family friendly, immersive experiences in a beautiful environment. Over 400 animals that represent over 75 different species welcome you as you walk through the park. Timbavati Wildlife Park offers fun in-park activities that will keep you entertained for the entire day. Pick up some animal feed and get up close with the animals at the Giraffe and Camel Feeding Deck. Step inside the Parakeet Encounter with hundreds of birds flying around you. Take a rest and learn about your favorite animals at the Wildlife Education Theater.
We are proud to be home to the Old Fort Dells “Engine Number 9” train, which is the centerpiece of our Safari Train Ride.
Working up an appetite during your adventure? Stop by the Congo Café for great food or cool down with an adult beverage at The Oasis.
Timbavati Wildlife Park is a unique option for planning a variety of special events. We can accommodate personal events like birthday parties, family reunions, VIP Tours or high volumes of people for large-scale events. We regularly host field trips for schools, daycares and senior centers.
Weather permitting, our general park admission and our Safari Train ride are available until the end of October. Private tours available by appointment year-round.
